Davide Alogna (Palermo 1980) as violinist is considered one of the best young talent in the Italian music scene. The prestigious magazine Amadeus choose him twice in one year as a cover artist and present two of his recording projects. The first cd (September 2013) was first volume of the complete Franz Schubert violin sonatas. The cd received important critical acclaim and after one year (September 2014) Amadeus publish the second cd, dedicate to the Italian composer Ottorino Respighi, with 2 suite violin and piano and the Concerto all’Antica, a masterpiece from composer that has been forgot- ten for more the 70 years. Davide has been working on the manuscript of this Concert, and the orchestral parts will the publish as a World preview in November 2014.

Giuliano Carmignola at Accademia Chigiana, described Davide as “a great talent” and awarded him of a “Degree with honors”for his Mozart interpretation. Davide graduated both in violin and piano with honour at Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Como and he obtain his master diploma in solist violin and chambre music at the Con- servatoire de Paris under the guidance of Maryvonne Ledizes with “Premier Prix a l’Una- nimitè”(2006).

In 2009 he was given a Stradivari (1717) ”ex Heifetz” for severals concerts for RAI and during different exhibitions for the Italian Government.

Winner of severals National and International Competition, in 2012 he was the first vio- linist at the Varallo Valsesia Competion for solist, to received a honour mention with Mozart Concerto K216 for violin and orchestra. Davide won many orchestral auditions as Santa Cecilia in Rome, Comunale in Bolo- gna, ORT in Florence and he has been concertmaster at Orchestra laVerdi of Milan in 2011/2012 season.

His solist career began with the “Prix d’Interpretation Musicale 2009” de la Citè univer- sitaire de Paris and in 2010 he has been awarded from the city of Milan with the “Excel- lence Price in Music 2010”. Davide has been playing as solist in some of the most important music hall in Italy and abroad as Berliner Philarmonie, Smetana Hall of Praga, Salle Cortot in Paris, Parco della Musica di Roma, Auditorium de LaVerdi of Milano, Gasteig and Kunstlerhalle in Munich, Bellas Artes in Mexico City, Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires, Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
