POOM PROMMACHART, Steinway Artist, recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Performance (Distinction) from the Royal College of Music (RCM), London which received an exceptionally high distinction for both solo piano and chamber music.

He was awarded the most prestigious Tagore Gold Medal for his excellent academic records, an outstanding career and a great contribution to RCM, which will be presented to him by H.R.H. The Prince of Wales in May 2014. He also received his Bachelor of Music with Honours and Hopkinson Gold Medal from RCM in 2011.

Dr. Dariusz Mikulski - Horn

 

One of the most important and talented Polish musicians, having in his curriculum numerous appearances and productions all over the world, Dr. Dariusz Mikulski, is a concert and Opera conductor, Horn soloist, music pedagogue and producer.

Dr. Dariusz Mikulski has studied in Poland, Germany and Austria.

 

Valery Oistrakh - Violin

 

Born in Moscow to the family of the illustrious Oistrakhs, Valery Oistrakh represents the third generation of great violin virtuosi beginning with his grandfather David and followed by his father Igor.


A true exponent of the great Russian violin school, Valery Oistrakh started performing at the age of 14, often sharing the stage with his father and mother-pianist.

 

 

Maurizio Baglini - Piano

 

Prizewinner in major International Piano Competions - Busoni in Bolzano, William Kapell in Maryland – in 1999, aged only 24, he won the World Music Piano Master in Montecarlo.

He regularly performs in prestigious worldwide Festivals - La Roque d’ Anthéron, Loeckenhaus , Yokohama Piano Festival , Israel Festival in Jerusalem, Festival Berlioz à la Cote st- André, Nuits Romantiques à Aix les Bains, Australian Chamber Music Festival, Benedetti Michelangeli Festival in Bergamo & Brescia, Festival Jacques Klein in Rio de Janeiro – and also in distinguished music societies and series such as Salle Gaveau, Musée d’ Orsay , Auditorium du Louvre, Kennedy Center in Washington, Sala Cecilia Meireles in Rio de Janeiro, Gasteig in Munich .

Justus Frantz - Conductor and Pianist

 

Justus Frantz is a name that one associates with outstanding orchestras and an absolute commitment to music. Professor Justus Frantz has been an internationally successful pianist and conductor for more than thirty years. He has served classical music countless times: by constantly discovering and nurturing young music talents. Therefore foreign tours of the Philharmonia of the Nations Auditions (Vorpiele) in many countries take a firm place in his schedule – for young musicians worldwide, it’s an excellent chance at the beginning of a musical career.

Omiros Yavroumis - Violin

 

Omiros Yavroumis graduated in 2002 from the Royal Academy of Music in London with the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees, together with the Degree of Musicology from the University of Athens, where he now continues as a PhD student.

He has attended master classes and has taken violin lessons with Ruggiero Ricci, Zakhar Bron, Lydia Mordkovitch, Eric Friedman, Maurizio Fuks, Sylvia Rosenberg, Grigory Zhislin, etc., and has won numerous awards in solo and chamber music competitions, both in Greece and abroad.
