Michalis Economou - Conductor


Michalis Economou is one of the most important and most talented conductors and composers of the European Musikszene.

As a former Music Director of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Chief conductor of that Orchestra has Athens Symphony and Music Director of the Orchestra of colours Michalis Economou created an important role on the cultural scene of the region. He is the conductor of the annual gala of the laureates concert the "Placido Domingo Operalia competition" and also Chairman of the Music Department of the Technical University Athens.Michael Economou regular guest and head many mean symphony orchestras.

Wolfgang Schroeder - Violin


Born into a South German family, Wolfgang Schröders earliest studies began with his parents. In 1980, Ana Chumachenko became his teacher and played a decisive role in his development as a violinist. At the early age of 17, he won the first prize at the German state competition Jugend musiziert (Youth makes music) and subsequently a scholarship at the International Menuhin Music Academy (IMMA). He has performed together with Yehudi Menuhin and Alberto Lysy, both as soloist and chamber musician in numerous European countries (Barbican Center, London), South America (Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires), and many other. After graduating from IMMA , he continued his studies at the Mozarteum University of Music in Salzburg under Prof. Sandor Vegh, and thereafter at the Mannes School of Music in New York under Prof. Aaron Rosand.

Ippazio Ponzetta - Piano


Born in 1975, debuts as “enfant prodige” at the age of 13 in the communal hall of his city playing three Sonatas by Clementi, the “Rage over the lost penny” op. 129 by Beethoven and “La campanella” from the 6 Great Studies on Paganini by Liszt, obtaining soon a resounding approval from the audience and the critics for his impressing technical and interpretative capacities.

After he had awarded the Diploma at the only age of 20 with the maximum score, he starts postgraduate courses first with the great M° Aldo Ciccolini and then with Marcella Crudeli at the “Cortot” Academy in Paris.

Haris Iliadis -Conductor


 Haris Iliadis was born on the 10.09.1972 in Thessaloniki.

He has piano, harmony and counterpoint at the «new Conservatory of Thessaloniki», studied in the classes of Kate Saragiotou and Christos Samaras. The «new Conservatory», he gained the diploma of harmony in 1991, the piano diploma in 1992 (with distinction) and the diploma of counterpoint in 1993.

In October 1993 he further studied orchestral conducting at the University for music and performing arts "Mozarteum" in Salzburg (class Michael Gielen / Dennis Russel Davis).

Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy - Piano


At university he passed all his examinations with highest distinction and since he was a child he has been winning an impressing amount of top-prizes in international piano competitions throughout the world. He constantly expands his worldwide concert activity.

Tapalin Charoensook - Cello


Tapalin Charoensook was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1988. Her music study has made possible with great support from her father, Dr.Sugree Chareonsook and his “The Talent Education Research Project”. Under his guidance, she began her cello study at the age of 10 with Ms.Saowakhon Muangkruan, Mr. Martin Grund and Mr. Juris Lakutis.
