She was born in Athens, Greece, where she took the first piano lessons at the age of five. Ten years old she won the first prize of the Panhellenic Piano Competition "K. Papaioannou". She graduated from the "Athens Conservatory" with a first prize. With a scholarship from the French government she studied in Paris (Ecole Normale). She also studied at the Music Academy of Basel, where she obtained the soloist diploma.

She has given many recitals and chamber music concerts in Athens and other cities of Greece. She has also appeared in England, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Albania, Turkey, Romania, Cyprus, U.S.A., etc.

She has performed as soloist with several Greek and foreign orchestras. (Athens and Thessaloniki State Orchestras, Orchestra of Colors, National Symphony Orchestra of the Greek Radio, Camerata – the Friends’ of Music Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Athens Municipality, Chamber Orchestra of the Greek National Opera, Thessaloniki Municipal Orchestra, Municipal Orchestra of Volos, National Orchestra of Belgium, Basel Symphony Orchestra, State Orchestra of Cyprus, Chamber Orchestra "Constantin Silvestri" (Bucarest), Symphony Orchestras of Burgas, Marienbad, Erfurt, Vratsa, Orchestra of the University of Louisiana, etc.)

She has collaborated with great composers and conductors such as George Crumb, Gunther Schuller, and Sir Neville Marriner.

She has recorded many times for Radio and Television, and has participated in Greek and international festivals.

Her repertoire includes a great number of works. She is especially engaged in the performance of Contemporary Music, giving often Greek and world premieres. She has participated in the recording of several CDs including works of contemporary Greek composers. She is member of the "Greek Ensemble of Contemporary Music", and the "Athens Trio". The Trio has performed many times in Greece and abroad, and has released three CDs.

Vicky Stylianou is member of the Orchestra of Colors, which was established by well known Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis.

She recently recorded a CD with works for flute and piano for Sarton Records label, which will soon be released.

She has studied advanced theory (fugue diploma). Her arrangements and orchestrations have been performed by several orchestras and Chamber Music ensembles in Greece and abroad (National Opera of Greece, Orchestra of Colors, Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, Radom Chamber Orchestra (Poland), Musica Nova ensemble of Buffalo (New York), Melos Brass, Athens Trio, +Kinisis Quartet, etc).
