Haris Iliadis was born on the 10.09.1972 in Thessaloniki.

He has piano, harmony and counterpoint at the «new Conservatory of Thessaloniki», studied in the classes of Kate Saragiotou and Christos Samaras. The «new Conservatory», he gained the diploma of harmony in 1991, the piano diploma in 1992 (with distinction) and the diploma of counterpoint in 1993.

In October 1993 he further studied orchestral conducting at the University for music and performing arts "Mozarteum" in Salzburg (class Michael Gielen / Dennis Russel Davis). «Mozarteum» University, he gained the 2nd diploma for orchestral conducting and the academic title of «Magister Artium» in June 1997.

While he has with his student conductor courses Karolos Trikolidis and Yuri Simonov in Greece, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Ősterreich active participated. He has also as a piano teacher and répétiteur of the singing classes at the «new Conservatory - Thessaloniki», and as an Assistant with both the Orchestra and choir of «Anatolia College Thessaloniki» as well as worked with the «urban Symphony Orchestra» Thessaloniki

In 1994 he was awarded with the prize of the «Debrecen Philharmonic Orchestra» (Hungary) and in 2010, he has won first prize at the competition of the "Duna" Symphony Orchestra in Budapest.

In the year 2000 worked as a Professor of harmony in the "Aristotle University - Thessaloniki". Since August 2001, he was Assistant of artistic director and principal conductor of the «urban Symphony Orchestra Thessaloniki» and since September 2005, he took over the artistic direction of the «urban Symphony Orchestra Thessaloniki».

His debut was in 2007 with great success at the State Opera of Thessaloniki with the "Fledermaus" by j. Strauss (idea without sample) and 2010 in Budapest with the "Duna" Symphony Orchestra.
